DEMOGRAPHIC MAKE UP
Q: In what ways is China's newest population reform an example of another attempt at controlling the demographic make-up of the country?
As the population skyrocketed in China, the government had applied a strick law called "One child Policy". This policy prohibited parents to only bare one child, wtih high fines and taxes when each family unit has more than one child. However, one recent announcement showed that China is now withdrawing the policy. Can we consider this act as an another attempt at controlling the demographic make-up of the country? In my persepctive, although it can be considered as a control population
