Title: Being a teacher
I have never tried teaching people other than my family, so helping kids made me very nervous. Plus, although I have tried doing google Earth several times, i was not very sure that if i have enough knowledge teach anyone. However, as I met kids in the lowerschool computer lab, my worries were disapeared at the very moment. The two kids that were assigned to me were very kind and cheerful. They constantly ask questions and told me what they wanted to do with the google Earth. It was a bit difficult to manage two kids at the same time. When Jun wants to find his house on google Earth, GueBuem wanted to try 3D buildings in Eiffle Tower. Trying to teach them what they want at the same time made me also confuse with the functions and features that I learned about Google Earth. I tried my best to listen to both of them and help them to learn new knowledge. Overall, althuogh I struggeld a bit at the begining, later I was able to fully understand their need and help them immediatelty. On top of that, both kids I had during the lesson were Korean, which made me even more easier to understand what they want to do. At the end, i became friends with two kids and ate snack together. Being able to have a chance to practice being a teacher has been a very valuable lesson to me, and I'm sure that this experience will help me in the future if I had to teach another kids. As a whole, it was a very good experience and I felt very happy to actually get to know the kids.
Wow! I love kids. They might also have fun.
